Minnesota sweet corn is here and ready for us to enjoy! Here are two of the best ways to cook your fresh corn. Find sweet corn near you for a fun weekend BBQ.
**Important–if you aren’t going to be using your sweet corn right away, store them in the refrigerator in the husks, out of the bag.**
Cooking Fresh Corn
· When you are ready to cook your sweet corn, husk it while the water is coming to a boil. Make sure you don’t add anything to your water.
· When dinner is almost ready, drop your sweet corn in the boiling water, cover the pot, and turn off the burner. Let the corn sit for 3-5 minutes. Don’t overcook your corn! Overcooking will take the sweetness out and make your corn starchy.

That’s one way, what is the second? Also, do you have any tips on bagging & freezing sweet corn? We have a recipe we have used for years, but I know that there is always a better way. Thanks
